Handsome pair of Edwardian silver Geo.II style candlesticks; of square, four shell base, pattern with removeable drip pans. Both identical, the same date and maker, one being hallmarked in London the other in Sheffield. This is not unusual when manufacturers have workshops in more than one city and the pieces are made from the same dyes. Fine quality from a great maker.London/Sheffield. 1909. William Hutton Ltd.
