Geo.IV silver "hourglass" pattern tea caddy spoon; with shaped, shovel style bowl and a single letter monogram (M?) this pretty piece is an early example of the combined silversmithing skills of two of the 19th. century's great smallwork exponents. Unite, and Hilliard, went on to become highly regarded, each in their own right. Pretty piece, of great interest.
