Description
Victorian, Cellini pattern, electroplated wine ewer. This fine ewer is decorated with masks, birds, animals, arabesques and exotic foliage. The handle is of C-scroll design with a figurehead ornament. All exactly as inspired by Italian goldsmith and artist Benvenuto Cellini, in 16th century Florence. Highly imposing decorative piece.English. c.1880.
