Description
Wonderful silver hinge-lidded jug; manufactured to celebrate the 25th year of Queen Elizabeth's accession to the throne. In fine early 18th century style, this fine piece is of globular form with a domed lid, scroll thumbpiece, double scroll handle with heart-shaped terminal. Good heavy weight, fine maker, and judging by the condition it has never been used (the interior is as clean as the day it was made.) Added plus is that it bears the special Jubilee hallmarkAny black marks to this image are purely photographic issues, the condition is perfect.
