Good Early - Victorian silver meat cover; of domed, lobed, oval form with detachable handle. Nice gadroon borders, and the fine cast handle is in the form of lion's paws holding a star. The body also bears a crest on each side. Great piece of useful silver by a wonderful maker. Stunning.London. 1840. R & S Garrard.
